    Organic Red Lentils are a colourful orange pulse, that are a nutritious source of plant-based protein and fiber. These lentils cook quickly, do not need to be pre-soaked and are used in a variety of dishes when cooking.
    They break down easily, add great flavour & texture and have a light nutty flavour.
    Red lentils are perfect for curries, salads, burger patties, purees and soups. When cooked they have a creamy consistency.
    These Red Lentils are certified organic, preservative and additive free, have no added sugar and are non-GMO.

    Store in an airtight glass container in a cool and dry location that is void from direct sunlight.
    Refrigeration is recommended in warm climates.

    Red lentils can be cooked on the stove top.
    Bring a pot of water to the boil with ration 1:5.
    1 part red lentils to 5 parts water. Let boil for 5 minutes and then simmer on medium heat for approximately 10 minutes or until tender.

     

    Red lentils are perfect for indian inspired curries, tossed through salads, added to burger patties, or in soups.
