Changes to Deliveries and Closure Period this December 2022
I don’t want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need. I don’t care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree.
I just want you… to know when Garden of Vegan is closing over the festive season and if there are any changes to your up and coming orders.
For the first year ever, we will be taking a week off over Christmas.
Our kitchen will be closed for one week, between Sunday the 25th of December, until Sunday the 1st of January 2023. And there will be no scheduled deliveries for one week only - from the 29th of December 2022 to the 4th of January 2023.
This means our last cut-off date to order will be the 18th of December, with normal deliveries scheduled on Thursday 22nd, Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th, Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th, Wednesday 28th. There will be no deliveries on SUNDAY 25th.
Note: This is with the exception of all Western Australian customers.
The last cut-off date for WA customers to order will be the 11th of December with normal deliveries on Wednesday 21st of December.
Our next cut-off date for delivery is the 1st of January. You can order any day during the Christmas period and your orders will automatically be rescheduled, and processed on Sunday 01.01.23.
So, what to do if you still need meals the week we are closed?
You have the option of ordering double meals on our last cut-off and freezing half ready to get through!
Sally, Benny, Essy and Ivy will be online and able to assist you if you need help with your Christmas orders. Their hours will be more limited than usual over this period, so please be patient with us!
All you need to do is simply log into your account and double order your meals before the weekly cut-off on Sunday the 18th of December for all QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, and TAS customers. For WA customers, double order by Sunday the 11th of December.
Some important things to know regarding Christmas deliveries and Garden of Vegan closure this December 22
- Garden of Vegan Kitchen will be closed from 25th December till 1st January.
- You will need to double your order or add extra meals to your account before Sunday 18th of December for all QLD, NSW, VIC, SA and TAS customers.
For WA customers, double order by Sunday the 11th of December.
- You will need to freeze your extra meals before the best before date, to ensure they last. We recommend defrosting them for 24 hours before consuming and following the normal heating instructions. Note: All meals are good to freeze.
- You will need to edit your order with the added meals back to the normal amount before Sunday 1st January 2023, or else you will receive double meals again!

We will be using the week off to spend quality time with our families and prepare some new exciting initiatives we have in store for early 2023 (you didn’t think we would be resting the whole time now did you….)
Our team will also get a chance to rest and recharge, whilst enjoying the festivities of the Christmas season so that we can all return refreshed for 2023. This means there will be limited responses online from the 25th of December till the 1st of January. We will check once daily for anything urgent.
